3. Yorkshire Terrier – The Tiny but Fearless Terrier
Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies, are small dogs with big personalities. Known for their courage and terrier instinct, Yorkies are not shy to stand their ground despite their size.
They are lively, affectionate, and incredibly loyal to their families. Yorkies are particularly good for apartment living due to their size, but they do require a good amount of exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy.
Their luxurious, long coats are a hallmark of the breed and require regular grooming.
They’re also known for their intelligence, which makes them quick learners, but they can be a bit stubborn.
Yorkies make excellent companions and are equally good at being a small, but vigilant, watchdog.
